We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the 69th Annual Gold Pan Awards a night to remember!
Join us on November 20 at the Dena’ina Center and be part of one of Anchorage’s premier business events. Volunteers will assist with event-day support, guest experience, and more. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to have you join us!
Limitless 5K
When: Sunday, Oct 11, 8:00 AM-Noon
Where: Goose Lake Park
Girls on the Run Southcentral Alaska is hosting a fundraising 5K event on International Day of the Girl and needs volunteers to help make the event a success. Volunteer responsibilities vary depending on your availability and skills, but include event setup and takedown, supporting check-in and registration, distributing water at the water station, marking the course, and cheering on runners during the event.
The event begins at 10:00 AM and the 5K begins at 11:00 AM. A volunteer coordinator will reach out to all registered volunteers with volunteer assignments and details ahead of the event date.

Project Homeless Connect 2026:
Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness
Project Homeless Connect is a community-wide, one-day event that brings essential services together in one place for Anchorage neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Guests attending Project Homeless Connect will be able to access a wide range of services and supports in one location, including:
- Housing and shelter resources
- Healthcare and behavioral health services
- Employment and education support
- Legal aid and document assistance
- Public benefits assistance
- Food, supplies and winter gear
- Haircuts, foot care and other personal services
**Volunteers play a huge role in making Project Homeless Connect welcoming, organized and successful. Opportunities include event setup, guest support, directing traffic, provider assistance, supply organization and cleanup.
Whether you can help for a few hours or the full day, your time and support make a meaningful difference for community members accessing services and care.**

YPG Adopt-a-Precinct: Kasuun Elementary
Please join us on Tuesday, November 3rd as we support the Division of Elections' Adopt-a-Precinct Program. We are looking for volunteers to help welcome voters, answer basic questions, and support polling place duties throughout Election Day.
Volunteers will serve in 4 hour shifts, and be provided snacks and refreshments for their time commitment. Any amount of time you're able to volunteer will make a meaningful difference to our community! It takes all of us to create a welcoming environment for residents to be able to fulfill their civic duty.
Details:
- Date: November 3, 2026
- Location: Kasuun Elementary School (precinct 12-265); 4000 E 68th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99507
- Volunteer Shifts: 4-hour increments. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for multiple shifts.
- Volunteer Duties: Greeting voters, providing information, and assisting with general polling place support
- Volunteer Expectations: All volunteers will need to complete online training ahead of November 3. The training takes about 2 hours total.

Alaska Jewish Cultural Gala
When: November 5th-7th, 2026 - Various Times
The Alaska Jewish Campus is hosting its 21st annual gala and is looking for volunteers! Volunteers are the heart of their event, and they have an opportunity for everyone.
- Setup & Loaders:
- Thursday, November 5th & Friday, November 6th
- Registration, Check-out, Personal Bidding Assistant, Sellers, Runners, & Spotters:
- Saturday, November 7th evening
- Clean Up & Load Out:
- Saturday, November 7th evening
Those who sign up by October 1st will be automatically entered into a drawing to win one of three challahs, baked by our Executive Director and Chef, Esty Greenberg.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and are asked to attend a one-hour training session in advance of the event (if available).

YPG Volunteering: Mobile Food Pantry w/ Anchorage East Rotary Club
When: November 14th, 2026 - 1:30-3:30
Where: Fairview Recreation Parking Lot / 1121 E 10th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501
Volunteers will help distribute food and food bags to visitors and pitch in with setting up and breaking down tables and boxes before and after the event.
