Meet the Staff
Kathleen McArdle
President/CEO
Kathleen McArdle joined the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce as President/CEO in October 2023 after a 13 year tenure with Verizon Wireless. Kathleen brings dual academic qualifications, first earning a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and later returning to graduate school for an MBA. Prior to Verizon, she practiced counseling as a licensed therapist with individuals and groups in clinical settings. Raised by entrepreneurial parents, she was exposed early to the realities of small business ownership and the value of resilience and creativity. Since moving to Anchorage from Phoenix in 2014, Kathleen and her husband, and their two dogs, have fallen in love with the vibrant and welcoming environment that Anchorage provides.

Brooklynn Spooner
Events Manager
Brooklynn is a native of Anchorage, Alaska, and has always been enthusiastic about engaging with her community and making new connections. After graduating from Service High School, she attended the University of Oregon where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, in 2018 (Go Ducks!). This academic achievement equipped her with the interpersonal abilities to collaborate with a wide range of individuals, paving the way for experiences in sales, customer service, and community engagement. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three dogs, creating art, and traveling.
Jacketta "Jacki" Oliver
Membership & Events Associate
Jacketta Oliver, newly appointed Membership and Events Associate at the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, is a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to community leadership. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she has resided in Anchorage, Alaska since 2021.
Jacketta holds a Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Development.
A committed community leader, Jacketta serves as Treasurer and Fundraising Chair for the Xi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and as Camp Activities Coordinator for Wilderness Adventures for Kids Everywhere, Inc. She previously served as Program Manager and Assistant for the Alaska Black Caucus (ABC) during the COVID-19 Community Health grant initiative and during their Equity Center development.
With over ten years of experience in social work, executive administration, and customer service, Jacketta approaches membership and networking with a focus on relationship-building and community engagement. She is excited to contribute her skills in program development and leadership to the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce in her new role.
