The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2002 Gold Pan Awards.  The Anchorage Chamber Gold Pan Awards are the most prestigious and longest standing awards given by a business organization in Alaska .  This year, they will be presented at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel on Saturday, September 28, 2002 .

5 p.m. , Friday August 16, 2002

Gold Pan Award for Distinguished Community Service by a Business
Gold Pan Award for Distinguished Community Service by an Individual
Gold Pan Award for Distinguished Community Service by an Organization
Gold Pan Award for Outstanding Anchorage Chamber Service by a Member
Gold Pan Award for Premier Service to Youth by an Individual, Organization or Business

Other materials will not be considered in the selection process.  Please provide information that demonstrates the qualities specific to the award for which nominated.  Type or print clearly.  (This form may also be e-mailed or accessed via the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce Web site at www.anchoragechamber.org) .

The process:

A selection committee will review all nomination forms and select finalists in each category. A separate judging committee will select the winners from those finalists.

The finalists will be publicized prior to the date of the 2002 Gold Pan Awards banquet September 28. The winners will be announced at the banquet.
