| The Anchorage Chamber gives its
members direct access to business and community leaders who
share their economic, civic, and social concerns. And
these leaders - our Board of Directors - promote and oppose
local, state, and federal government action on issues
affecting business in Anchorage.
From airport development and
expansion, opposition to Anchorage military base closure, support of a
statewide long-range fiscal plan, work on the proposed Anchorage Sign Ordinance, and
local economic
strategies and development - the Anchorage Chamber is in the mix
everyday fighting for businesses like yours.
Following are issue papers
(in pdf format) created by the Anchorage Chamber's State and
Local Government Affairs Committee, highlighting both sides
of issues that are important to Anchorage's business
climate.
