Advocacy & Representation

The Anchorage Chamber provides its members with a strong voice to local, state, and federal entities, to the media, and to political leaders at all levels of government. This voice is used to promote issues that directly affect business and the business climate. Your involvement provides you with representation on government issues and an opportunity to serve on committees and task forces.

The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce has established alliances with various other membership organizations in Anchorage such as AEDC, SBA, ACVB, The Alliance, RDC, AOGA, and the Alaska State Chamber. These alliances help strengthen the voice the Anchorage Chamber already has within the community - thanks to its 1,200 members.
