Chairman's Message

As I look forward to 2002-2003 with the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, I realize that this is an exciting time.  You will see a new look emerge through the organization in January, and with time, you will also see a more proactive Chamber.  The streamlining of many of our committees has given us an opportunity to make an impact in the areas that most affect our membership.

Last year, we refined our mission statement and developed goals and objectives.  This year we will develop and execute an implementation plan.  We will also focus our attention on the needs of our members and provide you with timely information on issues that may affect you.  We will strongly advocate on your behalf.

Through your involvement with Business Connection Breakfasts, Business After Hours networking sessions, Make It Monday Forums or one of our various committees, you have an opportunity to make a difference in Anchorage every day.

Your investment in the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is one worth keeping.  Your dollars are hard at work for you every day.  If you have questions about the value of your membership dollars, or you would simply like to learn more about one of our programs, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the staff, your Board, or me.  My agenda is simply to fulfill the organization’s mission…”Be Effective as a business leader by supporting and focusing our broad-based membership in their efforts to grow Anchorage into a Premier American City .”
